About us

The Salt Spring Baroque Music Society is a non-profit organization founded by bassoonist and baroque music lover Kerry Graham.  The Artistic Director of the Salt Spring Baroque Music Society is Marco Vitale, a world-renowned harpsichordist and early music specialist.

The Society is based on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia and our aim is to support the performance, study, and appreciation of historically informed Baroque music throughout the Gulf Islands and beyond, by organizing and presenting concerts, festivals, workshops, and other cultural events.

Our projects include chamber concerts, on-line recording projects, collaborations with other BC artists, and educational opportunities such as workshops, lectures, coachings, and masterclasses.
